Shoreline Hotel Waikiki had the pleasure of hosting French artist-painter Lucas Beaufort at our hotel for his first visit to Hawaii last week! ⁣

⁣Known for his intricate geometric forms, curious characters and impactful colors, Lucas painted a canvas for Shoreline inspired by our hotel’s bold colors and #NatureMeetsNeon concept! 

Inspiration for his artwork comes from traveling and adventures – “traveling and exploring new places” fuels his creativity and love for his painting! Beaufort’s painting style stems from his love for people — he notes that painting is an excuse for him to meet people from all over the world. 

“I don’t paint for myself, I paint to make a connection with the people I’m going to meet or someone who I already know,” said Beaufort. 

Beaufort was inspired by Shoreline Hotel Waikiki’s bright and bold colors for the canvas he painted. 

“I really wanted to continue painting my style, but what was really unique are the colors I used which were super bright and I’m really happy with it!” 

Having traveled all over the world, Beaufort has dreamt of Hawaii and was so excited to visit our home and island of Oahu. 

“For me, it’s a mind blowing place — the local people are so incredible, they are super friendly, the food is amazing and I will definitely be back to explore other areas of Hawaii!” said Beaufort. “I have a lot of love for this place.”
