AccesSurf is a local non-profit that provides free beach access and ocean water sports for people with disabilities. Having access to the healing powers of the ocean and inclusion with community beach days provide life changing experiences for all of our community.
AccesSurf will host the Hawaii Adaptive Surfing Championships in the heart of Waikiki at Kuhio Beach, an international adaptive surf competition with approximately 80 athletes competing and 500 international attendees. The championships will begin with a Welcome Ceremony on Tuesday, June 7 at 4:30pm, with competition days June 8 through June 11, King Kamehameha Day.
