Experience the Excitement of the Shoreline Hotel Waikiki!

Aloha friends!

Looking for a fun thing to do in Honolulu? We have the perfect event for you coming up this week!

We are happy to announce that our Art Showcase and Makers Market is back this Friday, November 4 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. featuring some of our favorite local entrepreneurs, artists, and brands to showcase their best local creations here at the Shoreline Hotel.

“A big part of the guest experience here at our hotel is connecting travelers staying with us to tastemakers in the community,” said Ibonne Pinilla, general manager of the Shoreline Hotel Waikiki. “We have curated many of our favorite brands and partnering with them to provide this opportunity to sell their goods and talents to locals and visitors alike right here in the heart of Waikīkī.”

It will be an eventful night, filled with live music by La’amea Paleka @laameamusic, artwork created by local contemporary artist, Kara Almonte @karaboutart, and amazing local vendors, where you will find the perfect Hawaiian gifts to bring some of that aloha home with you.

We encourage everyone to stop by to shop and talk to our featured vendors to get to know them in a fun and welcoming atmosphere. These businesses are the center of creativity and innovation, so you are bound to hear a story or two about how their shops came to be or learn a little more about the people in our community.

Here’s a little more about some of participating partners:

@lastwaveco – Last Wave Co. focuses on sustainable, custom and affordable art pieces that are handcrafted on O‘ahu using the boards of local surfers, turning them into decorative art pieces.

@honihala – Honi Hala creates handmade woven items such as earrings, pins, and at home weaving kits with online workshops for those who are curious to learn how to weave to make their own.

@confettisistershawaii – Confetti Sisters Hawai‘i was created by young entrepreneurs who make biodegradable dried flower confetti that are both eco-friendly and add a fun touch to any event.

@thevibecollectionhi – From bracelets to earrings to necklaces, The Vibe Collection will have pieces that you’ll instantly fall in love with. Each piece is hand crafted, and custom made with love.

While Hawai‘i is typically known for its beautiful views and adventures, we know that the soul of our destination is found in its people that gives the island a sense of character and is what makes it so unique. So, whether you want to get some Waikīkī shopping done or just curious to learn more about our community, we’ve got something for everyone so don’t miss out!

“We know our guests love to support local businesses, so we are very proud to be able to offer this event again,” said Pinilla. “When someone decides to shop local, it is making a personal investment in our people, neighborhood, community, and the environment. With supporters and patrons like you, they can continue to do what they love.”

We look forward to seeing all of you on Friday night!
