Say Aloha To Our Rooftop Pool!

Shoreline Hotel Waikiki’s rooftop pool, complete with sweeping city and Waikiki Beach views, deck includes one-of-a-kind neon wall murals painted by DJ NEFF and vibrant mood lighting for a colorful poolside experience. Say aloha to your favorite Instagrammable hotel!

“The artwork I created for Shoreline was inspired by the idea of growth – represented in the colorful compositions of different plants and their unique forms growing over and through each other on the murals by the pool,” said artist DJ Neff. “I enjoy working with bright colors, so the hotel’s fresh design style gave me the opportunity to experiment with a fun, neon palette – creating a unique perspective on a Hawaii’s beautiful flora.”

Guests can enjoy beach accessories such as towels, chairs, pool toys and umbrellas – all available at front desk!

Daily pool hours are from 8:00AM-9:00PM.

Meet the Maker – Nana Atelier

Meet Nana Atelier – Los Angeles-based fashion house and Shoreline Hotel Waikiki’s very own clothing designer.

During our #NatureMeetsNeon transformation, the Shoreline team was so inspired by the amazing DJ NEFF tropical neon murals on our rooftop that we we decided to create a clothing collection featuring DJ NEFF’s art.

With the help of Nana Atelier, we designed a capsule collection of  stylish pieces that showcased NEFF’s designs – a pocket tee, wrap skirt, wrap top, shoulder tie jumpsuit, polo shirt and a headband.  Our goal was to partner with a company that could not only produce our vision, but also embraces sustainable and ethical practices, and a healthy work environment for their team.

Lead by fashion designer, Alnea Nabos, Nana Atelier is located in the hustle and bustle of downtown Los Angeles. With more than 30 years of industry experience, Nana Atelier focuses on high-quality domestic craftsmanship, sustainability and an ethical work environment embracing the talent of her team.  The company focuses on fighting low wage and unethical practice, with Nabos bringing thought-provoking design and fashion-forward style.

“Our team here at Nana Atelier, wanted to create the same contemporary style as the hotel in the fashion line. The print is so vibrant that we thought a simple silhouette would create a nice balance,” said Nabos. “We wanted to have the guest take home a souvenir from their Hawaii trip with a fun fashion piece.”

So next time you walk through our lobby be sure to check out our shop so you can bring the #ShorelineVibes wherever you go!

Shoreline Hat Wall Featuring Red Label

So…you all know that we have a wall in our Shoreline Hotel Waikiki lobby dedicated to hats. Our go-to hat is a Panama style hat, bringing our #NatureMeetsNeon theme to life with bright pinks, blues, greens and other vibrant colorful touches.

We decided that it made sense for us to showcase a local hat maker.  So we came across a local dude named Ryan Chang with his product line called Red Label Clothing.

Chang has a heart of gold (more like RED, ha!) and we wanted to share his ethos with you. RED is the color of LOVE, HEART, PASSION, FAMILY and GOOD LUCK!  Cool name, right?!

Chang started his brand in 2013 and basically sold his line from his car, driving around the island sharing his message, all while partnering with artists, DJs, models, dancers, other subcultures to understand what defined their RED.  Six years later, Chang is owning his Red and has expanded to the mainland.

Take a peek of his headwear collection here.

We are so thrilled to team up with Ryan and spread his RED! “Do what you LOVE” is Red Label Clothing’s motto.

Let’s #SeizeTheStay where #NatureMeetsNeon and let us inspire your RED!

Guest Edit: Gazoz Pop-up

We are Gazoz, makers of urban & country beautiful drinks! We specialize in Farm-to-Cup Mixology where we harvest prior to every event fresh herbs and seasonal fruits from different organic farms around the island. The fruits, homemade syrups and fresh herbs are added into the drinks along with sparkling water which creates Gazoz.

Our founder Danielle Shemesh makes every drink to order! Choose up to three fruits to be mixed in with soda water and garnished with a variety of herbs. Many of our ingredients are obtained from the farmers at the market (like Ma’o Organic Farms) or Green Rows Farm in Waimanalo to keep the drink fresh and local. The result is a fizzy, fruity drink that’s bursting with flavors and aromas, which Shemesh calls “farm-to-cup mixology.”

Be sure to check out when we will be at Shoreline Hotel Waikiki next to sample our Gazoz drinks – complimentary to all hotel guests! View their Facebook events calendar here!

The Hawaii Food and Wine Festival – The Festival features a roster of more than 150 internationally renowned master chefs, culinary personalities, and winemakers and mixologists.

Hawaiian Pro – This community-centered event welcomes traveling athletes, families, fans and locals to the North Shore of Oahu to kick-start the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing (VTCS) at a wave where many of Hawaii’s athletes got their start in competitive surfing.

Vans World Cup of Surfing – This event is the go-for-broke, last ditch effort for athletes to ascend onto the World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour by way of the Qualifying Series and is therefore the highest stakes competition of the Vans Triple Crown.

Billabong Pipe Masters is the most charged event of the year as the season conclusion to the World Surf League elite tour.

The Sony Open in January gives you the chance to watch world-class golf pros play at the scenic Waialae Country Club in Oahu. It’s the largest charity golf event in Hawaii, raising funds for dozens of local nonprofit organizations.
